Finished photos of the Double Wing Swallow I’ve been posting over the last few days. It’s 5’7″ kong, 215/8″ wide & 21/2″ thick. It doesn’t have a model name as it’s not a model in my range. It was basically a make it up as I go shape using a nose & tail template from one of my 1970’s Twin Fins. For the center of the board I used a 5’8″ MR Puffer Twin curve. The plan shape is a mash up of sections of the 3 templates which didn’t really join well. There was quite a bit of freehand by eye shaping action !!! No Fin positions marked yet as I’m still debating a Twin + Stabilizer set up or a Tri / Quad configuration. The tail is not as wide as it looks in some of the photos. Phone photos tend to distort the tail of boards depending on the angle. Plan is to spray a Color design on it & ride it when finished. If I like it I may introduce it as a new model. @surfview @pop_diddy @timdickson @timryan1959 @slimesboardstore @surfboardempire @markrichardssurfboardsapparel @1_da_shapes @lowenshaper @fitzycooly #markrichardssurfboards #markrichardsshaping #markrichardsshapes #mrtwinfin #mrretrotwinfin #twinfinsrule #twinfinfever #twinfinfevercatchit #twinfinsforever #mr1980retroprotwinfin #mr1980retroprotwinfinmodel #mr1980retrotwinfin #mr1980retrotwinfinmodel #mrpuffertwinfin #mrpuffertwinfinmodel
